Sound
Forms Plc is developing high quality portable sound stages
for the live music event market for uses ranging from
small outdoor gatherings to much larger outdoor music
events.
MAPS
(Mobile Acoustic Performance Shell) is
intended to create a revolutionary sound and
visual experience that will will offer
significant improvements to performers and
broadcasters alike compared with existing
outdoor music stages currently on the market.
The
Company has taken steps to protect MAPS by
filing both Patent and Design Registration
applications in respect of MAPS in the UK and
USA. Applications have also been filed for an
International Patent and a European Community
Design.
The
design programme over the last 18 months has
involved international music experts, sound
stage designers and architects, including Arup
and Hamiltons Architects, highly acclaimed
designers.
MAPS
will be developed at ESG in Docklands, who have
been engaged to provide technical,
construction and marketing expertise.
The
Directors intend to exploit MAPS commercially on
a global basis in the outdoor and indoor musical
event market. Particular focus will
initially be on concert events and other music
festivals.
